CARMIS at The National Metropolis Conference Calgary, 2018

March 22, 2018
20th National Metropolis Conference

NSD Tech and CARMIS are proud Sponsors of the #Metropolis Conference being held this weekend in Calgary.

The National Metropolis Conference was created 20 years ago for researchers, policymakers, and representatives from community and settlement organizations to get together to share and exchange knowledge and experience in the field of immigration and settlement.

The focus this year will be on future immigration trends and policies and the challenges and opportunities that they create for Canadian society. The conference will include plenary panels with distinguished speakers and workshops and roundtable sessions on a wide variety of topics related to immigration and diversity.

You can learn more about the National Metropolis Conference by visiting their website https://www.metropolisconference.ca/en/index.php and by following them on Twitter at https://twitter.com/metropolisconf.

CARMIS (Clients and Refugees Management Information System), is a locally developed application in Winnipeg that enables agencies to manage their clients’ data (Refugees, Walk-ins, Government Sponsored, Immigrants) with pre-defined business processes. CARMIS simplifies federal reporting processes within IRCC guidelines.

We are proud to be a part of this year’s Metropolis Conference as they celebrate their 20th year. We wish all the attendees and organizers an informative, thoughtful and successful conference weekend.
