Sunrise Family Services Society is a licenced adoption agency in British Columbia. We are a non-profit charity that facilitates local and intercountry adoptions. Sunrise was started in 1996 and we were long overdue to update our case management system. Adoption is a unique sector and so we needed to find a company that would be willing to learn and understand how we work with clients and then build a system to meet those needs.

After researching options and asking other non-profits for recommendations we reached out to CARMIS. From the very beginning it has been a pleasure to work with the CARMIS team. They really spent the time to understand our systems, our billing, and our reporting requirements. They mapped our workflow and consulted with us about how we wanted to track it and report it. No one in our team had experience with creating or integrating a new case management system.
